Rue Victor Hugo, Amiens

.A view of the superb gothic cathedral in Amiens, looking down the rue Victor Hugo. Much of this historic French city lay in ruins after WWII, but miraculously the 13th century cathedral, the highest in France, remained in tact. I was attracted to the ornate windows and flying buttresses so typical of French gothic architecture.
